Cortona Academy is now located in an exciting 14,000 square foot building just seconds off the Dulles Toll Road, and minutes from the Reston Town Center. Cortona serves all of Fairfax County, and is just across the border from Loudoun County. We also serve and are able to arrange transportation for students from Maryland including possible pick-ups from Metro sites and D.C.

CORTONA ACADEMY abuts and immediately overlooks the Nature Walk and Nature Center section of the exciting, new 23 acre ARROWHEAD PARK! The Park is a public facility overseen by a partnership between the Park Authority and the Arrowbrook Management Corporation. As a public facility, it is open to our students and their families, providing a state-of-the-art, lighted, synthetically-turfed athletic field, a creative playground, two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, the Park Authorities first bocce court, as well as a field-sized, covered Pavilion for picnics and group gatherings. Among planned attractions are periodic music performances, and exhibitions of public interest.
As this exciting venue goes through its final completion – 80% finished as of January, 2011, with the Nature Center opening in March, 2011 – we look forward to the many creative and academically enriching opportunities that are being opened for our students. Any and all use of these facilities during time that the student is enrolled at CORTONA ACADEMY will be overseen and supervised by CORTONA personnel.
